Kafka: “You need not even listen, simply wait, just learn to become quiet, and still, and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice; it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.”

I have visited the same place hundreds of times. This time, I wish to remain there. The gravitation was pulling me into the spell of the lake, stilling, suspending me.
The world had stopped; I feel liberated.
The day goes by as I deliriously paint en plein air; my heavy breathing and spinning heart return to consciousness.
The world had stopped; I feel fearless. My strokes softening, neutralizing the coarse reality.

While Retrospective of Isolation is in progress, I invite us to come together collectively through art. This year's abrupt end to in-classroom learning has undoubtedly forced minority students into even greater risk of falling behind, decreasing college readiness and deepening the summer slide. This painting collection is 100% dedicated to bridge the gap in education for minority students, paving a path to equity and justice.
